Beta 3 of the Big See Collocation Cylinder

Here you can see the version from Meeting5. You can see the GUI controls we have.

Object Controls

The Object Controls let you choose the text to run and the stop words. It lets you set how much text and how many words to graph. These settings are set before running the animation. Once the animation is run you can manipulate the 3D model of the text. gui.jpg

Scene Controls

These control how the model is rendered and viewed. You can have it rendered in stereo so that you can view it with special glasses. The visualization produces a 3D model of the text which means it creates a geometry for the text tool. It is possible to record the manipulation of the 3D model of the text. gui1.jpg

Screen Shots

Here are two screen shots saved from within the program with the model viewed from different angles. Note how many words we have now - not just the 20 of before. The spiral of words are those words that only appear once in order of appearance. This sort of spiral will probably only appear if you visualize a small text or include so many words that the single occurence ones are included.
