What can I do with Tzeeker?
Tzeeker is a simplified online text analysis resource. A user can instantly analyze a text by choosing a form of text from a set of inputs and placing it into the text field on Tzeeker's introduction screen. At the click of a button, Tzeeker sends the user's text through a text analysis system and begins gathering results. Tzeeker is capable of analyzing the following inputs:
- a single word
- two or three words
- a longer phrase
- a full text
- a source from a URL
The text analysis system working behind Tzeeker is capable of running 3 text analysis tools on any of the preceding inputs. A set of recommended alternative tools are provided but not yet functional. The three text analysis tools Tzeeker uses are:
- List Words - This tool shows the most frequent 50 words in the user's text. For the first twenty, Tzeeker shows an inline distribution graph.
- Find Text (Concordance) - This tool shows four examples of the context for the top 10 words in the user's text.
- Collocates - This tool shows words that are near (co-locate) the top 5 words in the user's text.
