What information do we want to gather about each tool?
Fields in Portal Now
- Label for Tool (1) *
- Description (2) - it should be short *, Rich Text?
- Type (of Analysis) - comes from thesaurus. We need to think of the classification - it needs to be clear. Things should be able to go into more than one category. * (tag)
- Web service information - should become badge coden- should be hidden
- Forms interface information - collapse with above - we need a simple developers interface - this should be hidden
- Web site for Tool - should be get more information - "Get More Information - Go To Web Site" - button (1) *
- Type of text it will run on (XML, HTML, Plain Text) - just put it into description - No
We also generate a bookmarklet and HTML forms information for inclusion in other sites.
