How To Text Encode with Notepad
Steps
- With your document open in Notepad, ensure that your accents are visible and seem to be intact.
- Choose Save As... from the file menu;
- In the dialog box presented name your document including the extension .txt;
- In the drop down menu for Encoding choose the UTF-8 option;
- Click Save.
