Things to do:

  • Stacey will send Zach pdf files of scripts for Interactive Text
  • Zach will edit requested clips by Oct 12
  • Stacey will update hours log (estimate: 50 hours left)
  • Stacey will get server-space (tapor) figured out
  • Full-length video (secondary?)

Educational Testing:

  • Peter and Jennifer will work together to create realistic pedagogical scenarios. By this we mean, how would they use a module in a real class. For example, you might assign it as a reading, ask students to complete it and come to class prepared for a discussion on certain questions.
  • It would be useful if Jennifer could also proof the relevent parts.
  • With realistic pedagogical tasks we can ask testers to sit down and use the site for such a task. Stacey will ask 3-5 students to individually use the site for a realistic task for no more than half an hour. She will take notes on usability and pedagogical problems.
  • Then Jennifer (and later others) will use the site in a class. If possible it would be useful to get some feedback from students.
  • Expert reviews - experts who teach in this area should be assisted to review and comment on the site from a research and pedagogical perspective. Helen might organize this. It would be helpful to have written (e-mail) comments.
  • Helen-comparing papers from previous years to those written with the aid of the website
