Sept 14 Meeting Notes
- Get TAPoR 1 version working. We need to create a domain like "dictionary.tapor.ca" and direct users to use the new domain, give them a couple months and then switch domain to tapor1
- Bogus users.
- Use Capcha to make sure we get real users
- Get e-mail from users so we can send them e-mail when major changes
- Search - we need to do a exact match - it would be nice to support * (0 or many) - it needs to be word boundary
- We need to parse phrases so we pull out punctuation
- We need to solve the alphabetical listing of images - see Off and On, We also need to make sure every image/word is shown.
- We need to have the number of pages when you go to a letter and the ability to jump to page 4 of 5. Like Google
- We will use quotations to preserve as is - "ER" or "happy days". If you want to indicate that the quotation marks are the punctuation/word, then use forward slash \"
- What are we going to do about sentences and phrases - add a check box
- We need commas and periods
Comments
- Comments would appear in reverse chonological order under photo
- Owner of photo could delete as could admin
- Only registered users could comment
- Users could see list of commented photos in rev chon order - pages
Interface
- Previous Next should go up to top of brown area, we should have a maximum of 5 pages between previous and next
- Information on photo should go to side
- We will remove Beta when we get it out of dev.
- If we get toys we will need an area for toys
- We should create a TAPoRware tool/toy
Word Regions
- Modify cropping tool so that in submission process you can give connect a region to a word
