Agenda

  • Peter will present first mockups for JiTR (20 minutes)
  • Geoffrey and Susan will summarize meeting about Orlando and Geoffrey and James will summarize Library Fedora meeting.
  • We will discuss environmental scan for doc management tools.
  • Johnny will show early prototype of FB plug in.
  • Next steps will be discussed.

Peter on JiTR Stories and Personas

  • Has fleshed out a persona - Godfrey Laroche
  • Need to consider the shared aggregated text within JiTR to find synergies.
  • This is a great first scenario...gathering and sharing phase
  • A second could involve the analysis of what I have collected
  • Or a scenario for a second user
  • Make the 'conclusions' solid to take them as a script of concrete steps

Geoffrey to Summarize Talk with Susan and Him

  • Meeting was to accelerate the process to meet TAPoR2? proposal
  • April need to have an idea of what we need to connect
  • Have a decision to make and with Shawn's report over December we will have to make a decision

Geoffrey on Library Meeting

  • Meeting with Digital Strategies Librarian - they will install Fedora on one of their machines

FaceBook Demo

  • A Facebook application that humanities scholars can use to manage, share and analyse
  • More interested in the relationships between readers and authors than analysis itself
  • Share this text, join text groups...within a month or two
  • Existing prototype shows a list of texts and a list of collections
  • Could this app interact with del.icio.us
  • Is close to TAPoR MyTexts -
  • Use term Collections versus Repositories from now on
  • Shows how the app looks running on TAPoR

  • Shawn Environmental Scan of Document Management Systems - do we need to schematize what we need for dcms! - Shawn needs to be build a matrix
  • Geoffrey and James meeting with Library
  • Enter bibliographic in to the TAPoR spot
