- Stéfan's Bugs
- Lian on Memory and Machines
- REST Tools
- Next Meeting
Geoffrey showed a neat little graph of words important in Romeo and Juliet and top five sentences for each work in the complete corpus
First Stab at GeeTAPoR?/TAPoGee/TAPoRAid
- He has a first user story
- Offers a meta statement about what TAPoR guesses the text to be..i.e. Poem.
- Common themes found may not mean much to most people...interface should give examples.
- Term Frequency...again to much jargon...need to be simpler
- Flow charting
* Look at text
* Decide on its type
* Return context results
- First page has to happen quickly
- James wants gender
- Have animated results - can buy time by amusing people with animation
- Follow along the existing story to show some outcomes - what is going to show up for them
- Start a new scenario for someone that wants to analyse their won writing - she's into creative writing and wants to see how it meets the criteria defined by a prof
- A scenario for someone who is not using nice clean text...really wild text...non-academic text that is studied.
- A scenario...an ESL student at Columbia that needs help to understand a second language
- A persona for a student outside humanities of social science (maybe a med student) that needs a relevance for doing TA
- A third persona for a non-academic, maybe a programmer at Google...to do TA
- We want stories and scenario that support why we would put TAPoR into the McMaster Portal...
Stéfan's Bugs
- Need to break bug reports into categories (my Texts, Workbench, user management...)
- Agreed on defect, enhancement, bug
- Need to fix assignee, reporter, owner
- Time's up...will continue process next week
Next Week
- devoted to bug allocation
