August 31st Meeting
We discussed the direction the project should go.
- SHARCNET and RHPCS has two high performance visualization technologies - a 3D screen and a tiled large scale display.
- Our goal is to experiment with text visualization possible on such technologies.
- In particular we are going to begin with prototyping interactive text visualization on SVA (Scalable Visualization Array).
To Do
- Weiguang will investigate the visualization capability of SVA, especially text manipulation.
- Weiguang will explore 3D screen software.
- Geoffrey will find links to ideas and develop sketches for experiments.
