June 27th Meeting
Peter showed the first working version of the embeddable panel for calling
TAPoRware tools. This is being designed to enhance the Globalization site, but also to be useful for other sites.
Things to do next
- We want to set it up so that it can run the List Words automatically and show the results (PO)
- Fix local access to the tool so it can be tried out in different contexts (PO)
- Fix element issue in List Words Rest tool (LY)
- Start a documentation page on this.
- Create a credits bar at the bottom with an About that then points to TAPoRware tool
- Figure out how to use parameters in the object code so we can have other settings. All parameters should be optional - there should be defaults if there are not parameters
- Ability to specify a different tool endpoint like tapor1.mcmaster.ca
- Control size
- Possibly control default tool options
- Change the location of the CSS style sheet
- When a tool is chosen it should appear in the title to the Orange bar as in "Selected Tool: List Words"
- When a tool is selected the options needed should pop up automatically
