Photo and Stuff
- Photos are mostly shot.
- New photos need to be put on server
- Republican coins need to be reshot
- Data entry mostly done
- Provincial coins need to be entered
- Proofing needs to be done - Graeme will go through and check
Photo Interface
- Zoomify is really neat.
- Lets do it 600/400.
- Lets do horizontal pair of coins
- Integrate into the page
Interface
- Faceted nav
- Glossary items can be facets
- Chronology (Republican, Imperial, Provincial)
- Timeline
- We need about 5 periods with a paragraph or two about each - this almost becomes a tour
- We need a mockup of how this might look with the text
- Search results
- Include the auspices in the title
- Now we want to take the wireframe and generate wireframes for timeline, glossary, faceted browsing, and a tour
- Things to check
- What text to include in the title, short info (for search results) and details
- Name of the web site.
Tours
- Two tours, one on making coins and one on architecture or people
- Graeme will write a tour in text and then we will figure out the layout
- Blurb on the making of Roman coins; coin hoards
- Two tours (Architecture, People)
- Maybe fifteen "stories" per tour
