Ideas for Tools and Processes
- A tool to find (and delete) empty items in a collection based on a search pattern, tag, or date.
- A tool to find duplicates
- A tool to link items according to some criteria
- An annotation tool that would let you add a link to a note. It might, for example use stand-off markup for the note location.
- A search and replace tool that can work across a collection.
- A tool that gathers a RSS feed. This could do a one off job, or work dynamically, checking once and while. Each RSS entry would be one document.
- An e-mail reader that would try to read in an e-mail doc and make each
- A spider tool like Heretrix
- A QuickGather? tool for the browser tool bar so when you are looking at a web page you can quick gather it.
- A tool that exports the selected items in a collection with structured information (tags) around the items
