Graphic Designs (to think about)

*Getting Started "box" -keep?

  • Teaser Video/Intro/Commercial that user can skip if they want ("splash page")
  • How to use this Site
  • Explore the Thinking Process behind the project through interactive modules (?)
  • Jump to Video of performances, interviews and "artefacts" of the project (scripts with single parts, doubling charts, photographs etc.)(site map chart of videos)
  • Teacher's Materials (printable pdf)

HS: I think that list covers it pretty well. I don't particularly like "Performance Pedagogy" -- headings like, say, "History" or "Background" and "Staging" or "Performance" or "The Plays on Stage" (etc.) would be better. I like the "Getting Started" box, but we need to figure out properly how to use it. And I think the home page text has to say a bit about what users can expect to find -- we can justify SQM later on.

  • (comment from PeterCockett - 27 Jun 2007 18:50:00): I think the first one looks fantastic. Let's talk details on Friday but the design itself and basic layout looks good. I just think we need to think about what information is front and centre on the first page.
  • (comment from HolgerSyme - 30 Jun 2007 21:58:32): I like the first one, too, though prefer the non-underlined links from the second. They all have interesting elements -- the last one's interesting as well. Good job! (Sorry -- I've only been back for two days and am still finding my bearings!)
