What is the point of the project for Globalization?
- Creating a format for depositing our Globalization documents that includes some of the interactivity in the original.
- Creating a format for depositing that recreates the experience. That might include design, it might include glossary items, hyperlinking.
Experience
What is the experience we are trying to capture?
- Linking to glossary items
- Seeing low res version, pdf, and XML
- Running tapor tools on it
- Collapse exapand of abstracts
- Linking internally to notes and bibliography
- Links to actual articles
- Links to static objects from server - mock ups of table of contents, biblio search screen.
Simple Specifications
- Break a global doc into objects (simple version is headings and paragraphs)
- Develop a data structure for our objects
- Implement the objects in a tiddly wiki fashion
- Objects could be created
- Objects could be shown and hidden
- Move objects around
- Develop an export to TEI
- Develop a import from TEI Lite
- Plug in TAPoR Tools so it works
- Export glossary as one big tiddly wiki
