Explore Dynamically Aggregated Text
This exercise uses
this Recipe and the
Googlizer Tool to generate dynamically aggregated text and then uses tools such as
a concordance and
frequency list to explore the results.
It applies a recipe to real textual example which is freely available on the internet so you can do the steps yourself and see the results.
Exercise Steps
- Login into TAPoR.
- Run the TAPoR Googlizer to collect some web pages related to your topic. In this case we are interested in learning about Coffee and we can leave the other parameters as default.
- When the search results are returned, choose to save them to the Databench with a title such as “Coffee Results”;

- To continue the exploration of our aggregated text, we may wish to further focus our exploration of a particular type of coffee bean, or to return to the Googlizer and re-search for coffee processing equipment. The result can be explored on its own in a similar fashion as above or can be added to the above aggregation.
- This exercise has demonstrated two ways in which you can extract concepts from aggregated text collected on a particular topic.
